Introduction:
The incidence of sudden death of broiler birds above 40 days suddenly increased in August-September 2008 in the Kathmandu valley. The birds were presented for post-mortem examination at the Central Veterinary Laboratory Tripureswor Kathmandu were usually found dead in trunks with wings outstretched. The incidence rate was between 1.5 and 2.5% of the herd. The mortality rate due to SIDS has been 1.3 to 9.6% and overall mortality occurs after 6 weeks of age. No injuries outstanding gross post mortem examinations, except in cases of muscular edema, lung congestion, renal and liver failure, and congestive splenomegaly.
SUMMARY:
Penicillium spp., Aspergillus spp., Candida spp, E. coli, Streptococcus spp. and staphylococci. organisms used were isolated from culture samples of liver, lung, spleen and proventriculus. mortality reduction was achieved by restriction Supplementation food with glucose and electrolytes, liquid toxin binder, Immunomodulaters acid, and antibiotic treatment. The condition appears to be related to rapid growth rate. A practical approach seems to use a diet with 5.7% reduction in nutrient density. Provide more space and support treatment anti-stress medicine may also be beneficial.

Material and Methods: A history of the epidemic of sudden death syndrome in the Kathmandu valley.
During the first week of August 2008 there is increased mortality of broiler chickens in March-June weeks of age (Table 1). No warning signs. Just before death, the birds appear normal and are often seen in bird food, drink or walk normally. Then, suddenly, the affected birds clinical symptoms, such as the extension of his neck, and the transponder start beating wings and leg extension before falling back and use to die suddenly. Most poultry in the sheep have been diagnosed as suffering from diseases such as CRD, coccidiosis, gout, heart disease Lichchi, and were treated with the help of drugslikeTylosine, Cholestin, Enroxin, Gentamicin, Anticoccidiostates, MultivitaminBcomplex and liver tonic in alternation, but there was no improvement health of the herd but rather has been ongoing, but the death of birds have been recorded in each pack.

Postmortem find SDS birds:
Postmortem examination of birds died of sudden infant death syndrome showed no outstanding gross pathology. All poultry and meat, muscle edema and general pulmonary congestion and edema. The food is present throughout the digestive tract and gallbladder of birds are usually empty. The liver and kidneys were generally not congested and bleeding irregular subcapsular. In general, the proventriculus contains a milky liquid and food particles in the gizzard are intact. Congestive splenomegaly was observed in almost all birds. All these post-mortem in accordance with the description of the facts and results Ononiwu syndrome. al. (1979).
Laboratory mycobiota microbiota found and post mortem tissue samples
A total of 86 tissue samples of lung, liver, spleen, proventriculus and gizzard, were collected during the post-mortem examination and were subjected to both bacterial and fungal culture. The results of microbiological analysis performed are presented in Table 2.

The measures of prevention and treatment of the remaining birds in the flock:
All birds remaining in flocks were subjected to a diet restricted to 8-10%, and the meal twice day. Supplementation with electrolytes that contain glucose, liquid toxin Immunomodulaters folders, simple and broad-spectrum antibiotics were provided in the water. Vitamin B complex was completely eliminated. All remaining birds in all affected responded well to previous management and there was a marked improvement in general condition of the herd.
Discussion.
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SDS) is AHF disease that primarily affects chickens of the fastest men seem to be in good condition. Although it is a common condition in birds grow rapidly, the pathogenesis remains uncertain (and Ononiwu. al. 1979). Cardiac arrhythmias are implicated in the pathogenesis of SDS to ventricular arrhythmias (VA) is the most common observation representing premature ventricular contractions and fibrillation (Olkowski and Classen, 1997, 1998). It has been reported that chickens fed a diet rich in vitamin D3 above recommended levels in order to prevent commonly occurring leg problems are 2.5 times more likely to succumb to acute heart failure and death SDS (Nain. Al 2007). SDS has also been experimentally induced by diets containing mycotoxins moniliformin that leads to cardiac injury with subsequent changes cardiac electrical conductance (Reams et al, 1997) suggesting a possible causal role of chronic mycotoxicosis SDS. Other causes of SDS is continuous artificial light (Ononiwu et al, 1979b), differences in calcium and phosphorus (Scheidel et al, 1995), feeding regimes crumble-pellet (Proudfoot et al, 1982), the dietary fat content (Rotter et al, 1985) and meal frequency Bowes et al, 1988). The final recommendation of the limited supply and supports the observation increases abdominal fat deposits above the risk of EDS, including restrictions on calories / protein decreases the incidence SDS (Mollison et al, 1984).
Conclusions and recommendations:
This research indicates that broiler meat in a good state of body weight when not collected time and remain in the shadow of poultry for long periods suffer stressful life events and even sudden death. It is also possible that the increased humidity and hot season favors the growth of mold and fungi in stored foods increases the risk of mycotoxicosis birds. The incidence of sudden infant death syndrome in poultry in the Kathmandu Valley was first reported and should be studied further.

What are good Accelrated reader books about war?
I am 14 years old and in the 8th grade. We have to get points for Acelrated reader by
reading books and I don’t really like reading unless it’s about war. So does anybody know a good war book that is an AR book? You can found out if they are an AR book on arbookfind.com
The two greatest war books I have ever read are both AR books, and are even non-fiction, although they are so mesmerizing that they might as well be a fiction story.
The first is Flags of Our Fathers, by James Bradley. Its about the five men who rose a symbolic flag on Iwo Jima in the Pacific Theatre of WWII. Very graphic and entirely heroic, I’ve read it many a times and still can’t believe it.
The second is Band of Brothers, by Stephen E. Ambrose. Easy Company, the 506th Airborne Division. A group of soldiers that depend on each other make their way through war-torn Europe, filled with action and characters like never before seen in any non-fiction book.
The two above will surely catch your interest, although they both start off quite slow. And I warn you, the books are graphic, as well as true. That said, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Spectacular Times
The Chinese New Year Spectacular Will not Fail to Impress
As far as Chinese New Year’s entertainment goes, New Tang Dynasty Television’s Chinese New Year Spectacular is a relatively new kid on the block, having made its debut only three years ago. It can’t be described as a variety show, and it’s not really a Broadway musical, but it is different to anything else out there.
Before I attended the Spectacular’s Canadian debut in Vancouver last month, I had some idea of what to expect, because my Chinese friends were raving about it, plus I had read some promotional materials put out by NTDTV. What they’re attempting to do with this traveling show is revive the true Chinese culture which was destroyed by Chairman Mao and his communist successors.
Good old Mao razed temples, burned ancient manuscripts, tortured and killed intellectuals, monks, and anyone else he didn’t like. To add insult to injury, he made everyone wear black pyjamas. During his reign, counting famines and everything else, Mao directly or indirectly managed to slaughter more people than the two world wars put together.
Nowadays, the communist party of China uses the Chinese New Year, the biggest celebration of the year for the Chinese, as a way to glorify itself and promote the communist philosophy of fight and class struggle. But Chinese Central TV’s four-hour Spring Festival Gala of acrobatics, conjuring acts and comedy skits pales in comparison the Spectacular’s elegant portrayal of the best of China’s ancient culture.
In other words, it is traditional Chinese culture without the communist rhetoric, which must be a refreshing change for the Chinese—many of whom are no longer aware of what their true culture is, especially those born after the Great Cultural Revolution.
It was refreshing for me, too, but not for that reason. On the morning of the Spectacular, I woke up depressed—an unusual state for me. I didn’t even feel like going at all, but I talked myself into it. As I became absorbed in the unusual music, the myriad of colours, the graceful movements of the dancers, I started feeling uplifted. There was a purity about the show, something immaculate and flawless, that made a deep impression on me.
If I have a complaint at all, it would be that there was only one number played by erhuist Xi Xiaochun. The piece she played was so haunting and beautiful that the audience was riveted for every second of it. The erhu is an ancient two-stringed instrument that can produce an amazingly wide range of notes. Apparently, Chinese music aligns with nature in that it is based on the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire and earth.
The theme of the Spectacular is “Myths and Legends,†and some of the acts draw on ancient legends from the time of Buddha, Dao and Confucius—those wise beings from way back in China’s 5,000-year history who taught compassion, virtue and selflessness. China’s semi-divine culture comes through in the performances, leaving one with a wonderful feeling of… righteousness.
