^^ What do they mean when they say “we live in a world where justice is skewed”?? How does that relate to the irony of events??
When you get into math and do those bell curves, if the answers are mostly on one side and not evenly distributed the result is skewed. I would think she means that justice isn’t for all like it is for some for those that can afford the best attorneys usually win or often a poor person isn’t represented properly and goes to jail or sometimes an innocent person is persecuted and goes to jail. There are many examples of why our system of justice doesn’t work fairly.
Someone recently asked on here how can a rapist go free and the mother of the girl, should she seek revenge could go to jail. Our system of justice just means that everyone has a right to trial by a jury of his peers and to face his accusers along with a whole slew of things to protect the innocent from being convicted. It doesn’t always work correctly but it is the best we have and so much better than a lot of other places.
