It would be absurd to compare a mundane office environment with an oil rig at sea, an office have not seen natural hazards, in some workplaces.

For, for example near anything with wheels to help the movement or more elements furniture and a sack truck can be ideal. You may be able to rent equipment, such as visits to local plant hire shop and they are very cheap for a day or two.
While you're at the rental shop, ask about the gloves, do not be afraid to say what they want for them, can you explain more about that than you need for the team who can advise you better.
After configuring the computer, provide a plan and get the others involved in resolving any problem with the movement of objects.
