How much value does a dust jacket add to an antique book?
I found an a book that was published in 1913. I looked it up online and it is worth between $15 and $30 without the dust jacket and I can’t find a copy with it. My copy has the dust jacket in fair condition. Does anyone know about how much the dust jacket will add to the book?
I’m going to assume that the dust jacket, being in fair condition, might have a small tear or two, so that might bring the value down a little. But it should add to the value. Maybe not $100 but it could add between $10 and $30 maybe. If you don’t mind me asking, what book is this?
